On Friday 31st October, Vanya was honoured with The Margaret River Wine Associations prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, for her extraordinary contributions to the Margaret River Wine industry and her exceptional and innovative work with sustainability, setting the benchmark for biodynamic viticulture in the region and beyond. The Award honours her commitment to sustainable, biodynamic and organic viticulture, whilst acknowledging her ability to uphold a benchmark for producing exceptional wines of high quality and world-wide recognition.

Accepting the award, she thanked the Margaret River Association and spoke of her appreciation for the exceptional region of Margaret River and her commitment to preserving and caring for the land. The acceptance of this award marks a remarkable family legacy, as she joins both her parents, Dr Kevin John and Diana Madeline AM, who received their Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002 and 2011.
