Every two years, we also present the Cullen Award for Excellence, honouring individuals who have made a significant contribution to Western Australian wine and helped shape its global reputation. Cullen Wines is thrilled to announce the date for our 41st International Chardonnay Tasting. As with every year, mailing list subscribers will be notified first with event updates and pre-release tickets before they go on sale publicly. 2025 Cullen Award for Excellence
In May 2025, Cullen Wines hosted the Cullen Award for Excellence, recognising Andrew Caillard MW as this year’s recipient. The award honours the legacy of Dr Kevin and Diana Cullen and their enduring contribution to Western Australian wine. Caillard was celebrated for his influential role in Australian wine classification and his advocacy for the Margaret River region on the global stage.
2025 Cullen International Chardonnay Tasting
In November 2025, Cullen Wines hosted its 40th International Chardonnay Tasting, marking both the milestone anniversary of the event and the 103rd birthday of founder Dr Kevin John Cullen. Established40 years ago by DrCullen, the tasting was created to benchmark Margaret River Chardonnay against leading wines from around the world. This year’s event continued that tradition, highlighting the region’s evolution and enduring reputation for producing world-class Chardonnay.
2026 Icon Release Dinner | Pearla & Co
Cullen Wines hosts our annual 2026 Icon Release Consumer Dinner at Pearla & Co, celebrating the release of the 2025 Kevin John and 2024 Diana Madeline. You'll be joined by our Managing Director Vanya Cullen, who will guide you through both new releases alongside a selection of special museum vintages, paired with a curated four-course dinner highlighting fresh local ingredients.
