2023 Late Harvest Chenin Blanc

The Chenin Blanc dessert wine is a 100% biodynamic wine made from vines planted in 1976 on their own roots. It has been a long journey of discovery to find this wonderful dessert style wine we make.

Hand harvested on a Moon opposite Saturn fruit day on 3rd April. The natural acidity of the Chenin Blanc balances the 140gm/litre sugar. A deliciously fresh dessert wine that will age well in bottle.

Colour: Light golden Cellar: Now to 15 years Bouquet: Apples, pears, quince, gardenias, violets, jasmine Food: Serve with honey mousse, ice cream, pear tartin, apple pie Palate: Delicious quince, apples, honey, maple syrup and limes; a beautiful balance and drive of fruit

This dessert wine is made from hand picked cane cut grapes with the fruit quality being exceptional, reflecting an excellent growing season.
