Tasting notes Reviews

2007 was a wonderful year for red
wine quality and this is the best wine of this style that has yet
been made at Cullen Wines. The wine was made from a blend of 76%
Malbec and 24% Merlot and has gained complexity from 15 months of
maturation in French oak.

Colour: Deep rich red with a touch of
crimson on the meniscus.
Bouquet: Very attractive rich and concentrated mulberry
aromas, with plum and spice overtones.
Palate: Rich plum fruit flavours define the palate,
which is lifted by the lively mulberry flavours. Soft and with
great persistence and power.
Cellaring: This wine is ideal for early drinking and
for consumption over the next 5 years.
Food: Lamb, chicken and mild to medium – flavoured
cheeses.
