This is the best example of this entry level red wine that has yet been produced by Cullen Wines and provides further testament to the extraordinary quality of the 2009 vintage. The wine is particularly approachable due to the dominance in the blend of Merlot (80%) and Malbec (15%), which, as usual, have the fleshy and supple characters of these varieties. The wine, which also contains 5% Petit Verdot, has benefited from 7 months maturation in used French oak.
